Adeptus Mechanicus: Sydonian Skatros

Sydonian Skatros embodies a malevolent cybernetic sentinel, maintaining an unwavering stance until an adversary ventures within the range of its formidable rifle. Its mechanical, stilts-like limbs enable it to navigate treacherous terrain while shrouded in an incense-exhaust haze, surveying its surroundings. Employing protocol-driven precision and the advanced scanner known as the achillan eye, this Adeptus Mechanicus creation identifies weak points in its foes and unleashes precise firepower, inducing panic and agony to effectively undermine enemy morale.

This multipart plastic kit constructs a singular Sydonian Skatros, a cybernetically enhanced sniper from the Adeptus Mechanicus. The Skitarii sharpshooter can be equipped with either a radium jezzail, firing radioactive projectiles that penetrate armor and poison flesh, or a high-powered transuranic arquebus. Each weapon is accompanied by a bionic loader-arm and an ammunition pack attached to the Skatros' belt, which also accommodates a holstered pistol for close-quarters combat.

Additionally, the kit offers a choice between two headset designs for the Skatros – a menacing mono-visor or a pair of intense goggle-lenses – adaptable to be worn over its cyborg facemask or pushed upward onto its forehead.

Comprising 21 plastic components, the kit includes a Citadel 40mm Round Base. This unpainted miniature necessitates assembly, and for optimal results, Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints are recommended.
