Class Description: "Learn the structure and approach to Metallics Metallics can be some of the most striking—and most challenging—surfaces to paint.

This workshop introduces the 6 rules that form a structured checklist for achieving convincing, dramatic results in both Non-Metallic Metal (NMM) and True Metallic Metal (TMM). Students will explore how to design reflections, push contrast, control colour temperature, and apply light placement to create metals that feel luminous and believable.

Each rule is a key—together unlocking a repeatable process that can be applied across projects, from gaming miniatures to display busts. Blending theory with hands-on practice, this class equips painters with a framework to troubleshoot their own work and push their metallics.

Suggested Materials for Students: Paint holder & wet palette, A selection of your favourite brushes, Pen and paper for notes.
